Positively Unstoppable - Preparation

 

I signed up for the challenge on Saturday the 14th (my 48th birthday).  I had planned to start last week, but personal and job issues prevented it.  So I'm starting everything today. My goals for the next 6 months are as follows:
 
  • Lose at least 35 pounds (starting at 283.6)
  • Increase my daily step goal from 10K to 16K (if I hit my step goal 14 days in a row, I add 1K)
  • Follow my workout program (combination of DDPY and boxing/elliptical/dumbbell work)
  • Stick to my Intermittent Fasting (16:8) 

All of these will be tough for me, but doable. Part of my problem will be that I broke my wrist back in April when I tripped over broken sidewalk. I've lost about 25% of my range of motion, so doing things like pushups, cobra, and down dog are hard. But I will manage. I'll figure out how to modify things to make sure I can still do them. And who knows? Maybe this will help my range of motion come back better than PT tried.
 
I'm going to start to document everything later today. Pictures, daily videos for myself to show my progress, keeping an online journal, all of it. Good luck to everyone, and let's show 2023 that we are #positivelyunstoppable
